Squeaking noise when cold, shouldn't be belts.
My 159 started making a squeaking, usually only when it is cold. I notice it mainly in neutral, 1st and 2nd gear on low rpm and makes a squeak like a belt, or something, but when it warms it stops doing it.
I went to a mechanic and told me that the alternator belt or distribution should not be, and told me about a possible leak in a manifold pin, and that that noise, could be some pressure exiting from a possible fissure. Has someone gone through a similar situation?
I'm always careful not to get into high revs when the engine is too cold yet.
