is this correct?
I am hoping for some information regarding my Brera Spider 2.2 JTS engine.
I have booked it in for a service tomorrow, this is the first time it's needed one since I bought it earlier this year. Now while I enjoy driving cars I am no mechanic and certainly not good at understanding what goes on under the bonnet.
Anyway I have noticed a lot of advice on here regarding making sure the timing belt is changed on a regular basis (I used to own a few Ducati's so I know all about that).
Anyway onto my point when I enquired about when this would need chaging on my car the service centre said my car does not have one and therefore it will never need changing. Obviously a good point (and a little embarassing). But I just wanted to check with you that what they are saying is correct?.
Ps one last point, has anyone ever noticed with their 2.2 that on pick up there is somtimes a hesitation from the engine, almost like it's bogging down. Is this something that can be fixed with a re-map. Can I get anymore perfromance from the engine with some simple changed to the management system without affecting reliability?.
