They are quite high powered LEDs so they may draw enough current once up to temperature to keep the system happy but not enough initially.

Right so I went to take them out because the warning on the dash was annoying me and unfortunately both of them, because they are a little too wide fell into the indicator unit, after much faffing I managed to get them out but they both fell out of the unit and into the plastic casing behind and has now worked itself underneath the unit itself so there is no way I'm getting them back unless I take the headlights off

As another note, the other LEDs arrived but the connectors are far too wide to fit into any of the sockets in the car without damaging them.

I have I think 2 LEDs and an incandescent lost in my void. And an incandescent in the void below the boot lights.....

I have now learnt "cotton and superglue before you start..."

Right so I've ordered these for now and see how I get on with these if it doesn't work out think I'm just going to leave the standard halogen ones in

I wouldn't worry, if they don't fit you can use them in the map lights or puddle light positions so not a wasted investment.

I suppose so, I can always use them as number plate lights

If you put them in the numberplate lights is will be like main beam back there! puddles would be the best option so you get more light under the door.

Those are the ones that I bought whereby they got too hot and the resistors came off giving me bulb failure warning lights. Wouldn't recommend based on my experience alone but I may have had a dodgy set.... twice.

And I've had those ones as well and the base of the bulb was too wide to fit into the holders on mine

They look white which is the colour im after. My current sides are too blue, very bright but too blue compared to my hids. These look like they are just the ticket.

Definitely a good contender!

Did you need to add any canbus cancellers or are the LEDs fine on their own?

LEDs are fine on their own, they aren't throwing up any issues. I've took some pictures of them at night which show them up. I'm definitely happy with them

Let us know how they fit so we have a cross reference against 2 separate cars and if you have no issues, I'll update the first post with them as a "2014 recommendation"
