My letter writing is legendary.
I claimed back PPI Insurance, first letter did the job refund plus compensation for being mis-sold payment received for £3k, no need to use the companies that advertise this service.
When i took delivery of my GT in 2008, the car was filthy inside and out, the GT Mats were missing, a letter was sent to back up my telephone calls and i received the dealer mats approx £80 plus £250 in Alfa Vouchers, which i used at the time.
A mate of mine bought a lap top that broke within 18 months i wrote a letter after he was told to sod off by the retailer and that it was the manufacturer to blame plus the guarentee had expired, Wrong! Sales of Goods Act, Contract is always with the retailer. You also have to consider how much the goods cost and how long they would be xpected to last under normal use.
Do Not Purchase extended warranties, Sale of Goods Act, in Scotland provide for 5 years protection, in England it is 6 Years if the product fails. You do have to do a bit of research. Basicaly his £500 lap top should have lasted more than 18 months, result a new even beter lap to than the one he had at no extra cost. Plus he had 18 months use of the lap top before it broke.
Letters are easy to write, however i may charge for my templates lol!!!!!!!!!
"To be a Ranger is to sense the sacred trust of upholding all that such a name means in this shrine of football. They must be true in their conception of what the Ibrox tradition seeks from them. No true Ranger has ever failed in the tradition set him."
