Bit of a strange question from me, as my introduction to modern day Alfa's was a 3.2 Brera on a lease deal a few years back!
Anyway, had to change that for my present GT (1.9 jtd) for practicality (& mpg) reasons.
But 2 years down the line, I've started to hanker after a Brera again, sadly though, not the 3.2. Just can't justify the 22mpg
So either the 2.2 petrol or the 2.4 diesel.
My gt was remapped at Red-dot up to approx 185bhp & so now gives enough performance. Also been pretty much 100% reliable & truth be known, I doubt I'd change it for much else except a Brera. The usual German marques just don't get my juices going!
I've not yet driven a 2.2 or 2.4 version of the Brera.
I do about 9000 miles a year, 90% on Mways & rarely need the rear seats anymore, hence Brera is on the cards. I still can't think of a better looking car, except Astons/Ferraris/Maseratis.
I'm guessing that a few here must've gone from a GT to a Brera & I'm looking for advice on performance & mpg. Having owned one for a couple of years, I think I'm up to speed with reliability & practicality issues, unless somethings changed over the last couple of years or so.
So fire away guys, all opinions welcome!
