Locking Wheel Nut Removal

Decided to replace the rear brakes on Friday, got aal the tools out jack etc.

Placed the locking nut on the bolt and crack the funny patteren in the nut sheared straight off.

It's the locking bolts with the spinny outer case so I'm not sure how to go about removing. Any ideas as I'm getting quoted 60 - 80 with no cap if it turns in to a few hours labour.

Thread search it, plenty of possible workarounds already posted.
(Banging on old hex sockets etc.)

Had this occur to me on Sunday - had to take it to Piccadilly Alfa where one bolt killed their Master Tool!
Smart mechanic removed the remaining bolts with a bit of ingenuity unlike this guy:
