Had this issue for a while now, and not sure what the cause is, or If i'm just being a bit silly.
When cornering or going over man hole covers/small dings in the road, the wheels feel almost slippy. This is obviously intensified in damp or wet roads. But its still noticable in hot weather.
One slippy situation in particular is on the Black Country route (some fellow users may know it), around Bilston. On a large roundabout, there are a couple of tiny raised chunks in the road, and when I drive over them (cornering mainly) the back end of my car seems to slip.
Now, tyre wise, I'm ok. All tread is good. Front tyres are 'budget' tyres which are relatively new. The rears are Michellins, decent. Pressure wise, all upto the correct weight. And car not travelling with overloaded weight. Just me. And i'm not that fat
So, is this just what happens? Anyone else have this type of trouble?
