I have now done 55,000 very pleasant miles in the Skoda Superb and have had no faults whatsoever. Body work is great, stone chips remain just that. The brakes lasted 50,000 miles before needing new pads and disks! It needs services every 18,000 miles or so. I am even getting around 50mpg, the engine is cracking (170bhp CR Diesel and DSG Gearbox). Ok, it's not a pretty car but it is really good. The new Superb does look fabulous however, I don't see me going back to Alfa. I just don't have that amount of spare time in my life.

forums like this. That's the advantage when buying an old model, all the trouble spots are known (I hope so).

2,4 diesel makes smile every time I let it work
