Sorry to hear about both your issues.
I've never gone into limp mode in the 9 months I've had the Brera, so maybe I've been very lucky, although I do notice it running rough / feeling sluggish prior to a regen.
Most of my use is in/around town for work with a 15 min run down the M18 and one junction of the M1, then A57 four times a week, so I make sure I give it a bit of a hoofing on the slip roads and hang onto the revs more than usual.
A couple of times I've notice the regen start, so have carried on down the motorway for another junction and back up to give it time to complete.
I recently had to go to Orkney twice, the 1st time I flew up and then got ferries, the last time I went up in the Brera.
Set off from Rotherham, 1st stop Gretna Green Services, then onto Aviemore in about 6hrs.
Next day was upto Scrabster, near John'O' Groats for the ferry, and a week of pottering around, came back via Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and stopped at Newcastle on the way back over 7hr with a quick top up for the car and us.
It was some trip, well over 1,200 miles in all and the car ran as sweet as anything during the run and for a week or so after, but now I've been back a couple of weeks its showing the old traits again.
So if 1,200+ mile in a week isn't a "good run" I'm not too sure what is?
At the moment I'm seriously considering a visit to Gus at Alfatune to release the cars full potential, and then may just repeat the "Orkeny or bust" run to compare
