Bear in mind that the designation you're looking at is probably what a dealer wrote on a form when the car was first registered, and this may well include some cars pre-ordered/registered with a particular set of goodies to the dealer's own spec. Therefore some degree of fragmentation in the type designations is inevitable. Not many cars (especially Alfas) were registered in 2008 anyway - recession & all that.
I recall when I bought a brand new 156 12 years ago both I and the dealer thought I had ordered a completely standard version of the car. When it arrived 1) there were one or two details that surprised the dealer and 2) I don't think I saw ever saw another car that was *exactly* the same as mine, even after ignoring exterior/interior colour differences.
