I have used Nankangs on a couple of cars and actually found them pretty good.
There was a tyre test done by what car on budget tyres a while back, with the aim of showing how poorly budget tyres often perform . They tested a Continental against Nankang, Wanli, linglong, GT Champiro, and Triangle.
The Nankangs were the best of the budget tyres, with Linglong and Wanli worst.
I think the Nankang took 3 meters longer to stop in the wet from 50mph than the Conti, where as the Wanli took about 10 meters extra to stop.
On my Puma at he front, is a pair of Debica tyres, which are made by Goodyear. The nanknags are far better.
You will never be cool driving a Vauxhall.
