Thanks! The 9000 Aero is modified, Abbott map, uprated hi-flow intercooler, strut brace, lowered Abbott springs, poly bushes all round, uprated rear ARB, new TD04 turbo with Forge actuator and recirc valve, water/methanol injection system and full Abbott 3" exhaust with clean downpipe (no CAT) and an Abbott cone induction kit with channelled cold air from the inner wing. It sits on either Azev A (pictured) or Team Dynamics Cyclone wheels, both 17", on hubs with Abbott racing drilled/grooved discs and Mintex racing pads. It's a bit of a beast, currently running close to or a little over 300bhp. Quite capable of demolishing most cars it encounters on the roads, with absolutely brutal mid-range grunt.
Mind you, the Volvo is no slouch! For those unfamiliar with the marque, this particular model (the V70 T5) packs a 5 cylinder, 20 valve, 2.3 litre turbo-charged lump, again a TD04 turbo with intercooler. This engine was famously recognised by the masses when Ford used it in the Focus ST (albeit detuned...). Also modified, the V70 sports a RICA remap, performance filter, water/methanol injection and various suspension upgrades and uprated ARB's and strut braces. Not quite as punchy and brutal as the Saab (it's 300kg heavier for a start) but it's also close to 300 bhp and scares many-a-chav.
The Volvo has been my daily-driver for the last 3 years and 40 odd thousand miles until the 159 came along. It's been an epic luxury cruiser and ultra reliable.
