Hello fellow alfisti.
I have have a disease called alfaddiction. So, I keep hangin' on to my 07 Brera, like a bad but exciting love affair, although she has given me quite some headaches (and walletaches too (quite like a love affair also )).

After replacing, in December, Gearbox, clutch and a part that i dont know it's name in english (roda volante in portuguese (edit: I think it's the flywheel)), now it feels like christmas inside my car, so many lights and bells that light up: EBD, ASR, VDC and Hill Holder errors and not available (**** I thought to my self ). (also, ABS,Brakes and traction control light in dashboard light up)

Went to my dealer, and they couldn't point their finger at anything. they had an ABS control unit (centralina), substituted it and: errors gone. So they said i need a new one. But as the price: :drum role: 1100€??? Again? Damn, that hurt's...

So my qustion is: could it be another thing that would't be so radical than a new unit?
Could I get it cheaper in internet? How do I search for it(technical term I mean)?
Please help me as I am still paying the 4000€ I paid in December

Note: dealer recently changed ownership. as I got my car back in my hands, it had an error with security safety window. after 20min fiddling around and not getting right, they had to read instructions to get it right. Was not very reassuring on their skills, to say the least.

Check the battery and battery terminals.
Check the clutch and brake pedal switches.

Hope it's a cheap/easy fix.

Also pull the mat away from the pedal if it has moved forward.

Had this happen to me once, pulled the mat back, turned off the car and back on again. Fixed
