but £300 + VAT is a heck of a lot cheaper and Perksy is happy with the result - furthermore the issues that he had are now apparently resolved and won't happen on anyone else's...
Yes, I'm more than happy with the result. The car is transformed. Its now the car it should always have been.
Also, no disrespect to Gus/Alfatune etc. They worked hard on the research and developement to make this possible, and this allows us to enjoy our cars with more power and drivability without the unreliability and complications of the horrible DPFs. As the early pioneers of this modification (just like any invention) they can natuarally charge a premium for their work if they're the only one doing it. However, as competitors enter the market, competition kicks in. The early pioneers wont like it (or the early adopters who paid a hefty premium) but thats the nature of research, development and competition.
