Brera ASR

I have an 06 Brera 2.4 JTDM. I think i have a problem with the ASR but the local dealer says not! If I wheel spin even the smallest amount, (leaving work i drive through a gate with a raised metal strip whilst driving up hill causing the smallest amount of wheel spin) The ASR warning comes on the display saying ABS, Hill holder, Traction control etc etc is not working. The messages stay on the car usually around 24 hours then reset.(switching ignition on/off has no effect)

The dealer tells me this is to stop people driving the car aggressively, and that infact the abs etc etc is all still working and it just there to discourage you from doing donuts and handbrakes in the car.

Anybody else have any experience with this?

Dealer talking rubbish. The light/logo comes on mine when the electonics are intervening, no message like that should come on the screen.

Biggest pile of pants I have ever read. Error messages do not appear on displays to persuade you not to be a bad driver. They appear because there is a fault, or at the very least a faulty sensor.

All is not well. Go to a different dealer / garage. These muppets dont sound trustworthy.
