Gentle Mods for an Alfa Brera Spider

I'm new to Alfa ownership and own the 2.2JTS verion of the Alfa Brera. The performance is OK certainly fast but I would like to make a few gentle modifications just to boost the power a little more.

I dont want to go for major upgrades, superchargers new exhausts or anything like that. So any advice would be appreciated.

Changes to the 2.2 for moderate gains will be increased power and smoothness from a remap, and exhaust and induction changes. The exhaust on the Brera is quite restrictive and heavy.

These changes can bring over 200BHP from the engine.

No direct experience of the 2.2 but reading on the Tuning Section (which I strongly suggest you do ) The 2.2 seems to benefit significantly from an exhaust, induction kit and remap as stated above. The exhaust note is supposidly very good also.

Minimum the 2.2 needs is a drop-in replacement foam air filter
and a remap that clears the hesitation and ups the 1st gear rev limit.

As the others have said additional air-intake mods and a new
exhaust will get the 2.2 around 200BHP which is about optimum
for the Brera/SPider/159.

Thanks for the advice guys, i think a remap is a good start, it's due a service in a couple of thousand Kms so i may ask the garage if this is something they can do for me.
