Alfa Romeo 159TI

Advice needed about a change

I am new to this forum, and I have found that the information on here fascinating.

On to the reason for my post. At the moment I own a 08 159 TI in Carbonio Black, low mileage (13000), FSH, new tyres and it is absolutely mint. I do love the car but I have my final payment to make on it in June. All along I was going to keep it, but that was until I saw a Brera at my local dealer. It is the first time I have looked closely at it, and I instantly fell in love with it.

The Brera is a 11 (march 2011) plate, and the salesman said it is probably the last one they will get. It is a 170 bph 2.0 diesel and is up for £24950. The questions I would like to pose to you is, would you keep the 159 TI as it is a great car and they are holding their prices very well, and wait for a 159 replacement to come out (2012) at the earliest. Or, is a Brera the way to go, and would the Brera keep a sensible sort of value due to them no longer being made?

Any advice, or views would be greatly recieved!!

159 replacement has no hard schedule so ignore that.

Personally the Brera is the last chance of having a
damn sexy Alfa coupe for a while.

You don't say which engine your 159 has.
(I'm assume an older DERV.)

Go Brera, it's another level all together.
