Windows Automatically Opened
Just been woken by police in the middle of the wee hours as they spotted my 159 was parked up outside with all its windows down, which they they thought was suspicious. I was mightily impressed they spotted it whilst driving past.
I've not had the windows down today, so can only assume that I've had the keyfob in my pocket and the unlock button has been depressed in there to make the windows open. And I always have to turn the internal sensors off - as passing cars always set it off, so no alarm would have been raised.
I'm supposing it's going to be an accidental button press on the keyfob that's opened the windows, but it would have been a case of my keys being in my pocket for only some ten minutes and some good 30 yards away through at least one brick wall to have set this off. If this is the case, then it's been sat outside for 7 hours with the windows wide open and neither the car or it's minimal contents have been stolen (rough area too).
Anyone know of any other possible reason why all the windows might be down? It was in for some repairs on Friday, but I can't think of any reason without pressing the boundaries of reason of what else would be the cause. Don't suppose the anti-pinch could have done this?
If it is me being dumb and stupid and button presses in my jeans' pocket, perhaps a cursory warning to others then. I was lucky tonight - I know that much for sure.
