2.4 (210) misfire

Hi chaps

On the way to work this morning i noticed that for some reason the Brera misfired. It only happened once and was when going round a roundabout and applying the power to exit. Power seems normal and no warning lights but it was quite a noticeable jolt.

Engine was up to temp and i filled it up with VPower Diesel just before setting off.

Any thoughts what this could be, is it common or should i be worried. Ive only had the car 1 1/2 weeks and this is my first oil burner. Also fuel consumption is typically poor with an average of around 30mpg (although i know this is a common issue)

I wouldnt worry about it, modern diesels all tend to skip the odd beat due to all the emissions malarkey, especially at part throttle.

Unless it becomes a regular occurence, I wouldnt worry

TBH the very thing I had been fretting about on my GT 1.9 was also evident on my wifes 5 month old, 6000 mile 2.2 i DTEC Accord. As CJ says. If it becomes hard to drive through, or regular then don't worry about it. It's prob the EGR and if my experience is anything to go by an easy DIY fix, or at worst an hours labour at your preferred indy to do it for you
