brera spec options

brera spec options

Having driven a few second hand brera's - as i am currently looking to buy

I am a little confused by spec options

Where xenon lights an option on all brera models ??

Some seats have the metal plate is this only available on the frau upgraded leather seats ??

Do brera models have hill start assist options, one of the cars i testdrove felt different on hillstart - dealer didnt seem to know

is cruise control standard

Is the factroy fitted sat nav worth having, or are you better with an aftermarket unit ??

Are heated / electric seats standard

Any other buying advice would be greatly appreciated

many thanks

Xenons are an option. Metal plates in the seats are on the new seats from MY08 onwards.

The SV designation got dropped at the same time with the glass roof being blocked by full headlining. The roof blind was an optional extra.

Factory satnav is crap. All have hill holder. All cars have cruise. Heated / electric memory are optional. There are two types of frau leather (polontro being the best napa type).

Other than the 2.4 issues I mentioned on your other thread, rocking seats & soft paint, only the steering racks have been problematic.

To note & as a caveat, I'm referring to UK spec cars

Xenons were an option only. As are the heated seats.

Metal plate came in '08 replacing the headrest stitched logo.

As SR says Hillstart and cruisecontrol are standard.
As are folding wingmirrors and electric seatbacks.

Original satnav is rubbish.
Get the bluetooth or blue & me system as these are
the most useful toys.

confused further after this morning

i test drove an 07 plate 2.4 diesel

That did not have cruise control

and it had black clocks and dials in the dash - compared to other cars which were rer and black - Did they change the internal dials at some point ie, boost gauge , speedo rev counter petrol gauge etc ???

I think the dials were all white/black originally from memory.
