Wow that silver Brera looks GREAT with the 18" TIs!! Funnily enough Alfa Silver would have been my second choice after Misano Blue. Think I'll go for these!
I like the QVs you've picked as well. I don't mind having to clean the wirespokes as they look good, and they're not that
bad to clean, but the TIs are soooo easy to clean. I've had the car for almost 4 years and it's mechanically just how I like it, so a refresh of the wheels is better than changing car.
Plus I found that the 19"TIs on my wife's Spider LE were not as easy to accidentally curb. Reduce the size to 18" with a 45mm cross section and there should be additional tyre bulge to protect the rims.
You can see that they're 18s not 19s (well, you can if you've spent the last 24 hours scouring the internets for photos of Breras with TI alloys
), but only just. Also, I'm not 100% sure that the 19" TIs aren't a bit too big for the Brera in terms of looks - emphasises height and roundness of the car's features.
Also my car is a 2.2, so a bit lower to start with, and has Eibachs, so another 25mm lower again. Hence 18"s fill the arches nicely.
Here are my current 18"s, with Eibach Pros, let me know what you think. Should look good with 18"TIs, or better as is?
