159 feel road through the pedals

Apologies, my Safari window locked up and ended up submitting two enquires the same.

Having owned my 159 2.0 JTDm for only a week, I am still very much settling in with the car.

I have a few thoughts, one being economy which is way off expectation, but that doesn't seem to be unusual unfortunately. I also have the same notchy gearbox between 2nd/3rd that also seems to be fairly normal.

One thing I have not managed to find in the forum is the sensation of feeling the road surface through the pedals. I didn't notice this initially as I was wearing trainers with thicker soles, but in my thinner work shoes I can noticeably feel the imperfections and bumps in the road through the pedals. Especially through the accelerator.

Is this normal?
