Given the 3.2 159 is over-square; as is the Busso, does it have the same stroke as the GM units, vis-a- vis the Vauxhalls? Or did Alfa have an input with regard to the Bore/stroke ratio, which is something dear to the hearts of Alfa engineers. I appreciate the crank is; according to information, very strong due to the forging process, but they would want to maintain distance between themselves and their competitors, even though they were using a generic block. I suspect it is different, but would be interested if anyone could throw light on the issue. And yes, I am like a kid on Christmas eve, waiting for Santa, - three weeks to go.
