Maybe in hind site it was a bad move, as they may well pinch my key fob and find it won't start and then come back for my thumbs!!
I like that system. Did you fit it yourself? If so I would be interested to know how difficult it is to install?
Thanks, its actualy a custom system I made my self using an available optical scanner.
I have now completed a long period of testing and the system has been faultless.
*As seen I used an advanced optical scanner just like the police and airports use for identification, not your cheep capacitive/resistive types.
*The system will hold 100 finger prints - this means you can scan in many fingers so if you have a cut or swollen finger, it will still recognise another pinky.
*I use some very clever ways to imobilise the cars systems during the armed period, and I'm not talking about relays breaking power to the starter motor or ignition.
*The autostart feature is optional - this will make install easier as that feature needs 12 wires alone to work.
*There is a service mode so dealer/garrage can drive the car.
I would be happy to build modules for those who are 100% competent to dremel there dash boards and delve deep into the wiring looms.
I would advise a good understanding of electronics and automotive electrics is essential
PM me if interested.
