Just test driven a Brera JTS
A new member to the forum and a Brera fantatic, I just thought I'd say I have just had mny first test drive of a 2006 2.2 JTS sv in Alfa Red with 18'' Horseshoes, Blue & me and 43k with full main dealer histtory.
some things that are bugging me - the oil pressue guiage stayed at 70 the whole test drive - is this the default (needle didnt move) o9r is this a sign of as faulty guage?
secondly, the silver trim bits were quite badly scored, especially around the steering wheel, door handles and centree console (i pressume a big set of keys have been hooked onto the key card and thus caused chipping). is this a common thing to expect??
there were also a good few marks/.stone chips around the front. would the shapoe of the car mean this is inevitable or am I jsut being picky?
it was a nice driving car, dash quite big and upright and a little hard to see in front of you, and extremely hard to see out the rear!!
everyone seemed to work 100%
p.s is it only the diesels that does an oil test wehen the car is started or should petrolsd do this too?? maybe linke3d to possible faulty oil guage??
Overall I loved the car, but think I would be suited to the more grunt and affordability of mpg from the diesel....a 2.2 seemed a littrle slow and mpg wasnt great
