Brera windscreen washer jets fail!

Hi guys, my right side windscreen jet has stopped working altogether! It started with the last big colds of december, but I didn't give it much importance (I told it could be clogged by dirt or ice) but when I went to have a closer look at it I realised that it doesn't seem to be the case: the nozzle is actually free of any obstruction, and I realised how complicated the system needs to be (there seem to be a kind of inspection panel under each jet, but didnt have time to open and have a lookie).

Did any of you guys have a similar problem in the past or know what the cause could be? I thought there might be a leakage somewhere but there doesnt seem to be any signs in the engine or nearby areas.. ideas?

You can easily get at them from the plastic covers under the bonnet.
Remove and check any water is coming out the hose.

They do get bunged up and are totally sealed
with no adjustment. So don't stick pins in them, you'll ruin them.

Try taking them off and soaking in vinegar if they are the problem.

Mine have always been poor until I noticed that the water was coming out of another part of the nozzle - they needed blocking with a screw! Now washes superb.
I took it in for warranty work and asked them to look at it and they told me I needed new jets as they were blocked - wanted about £40!!
Obviously a design fault.

I used to get that on my Brera - the water would freeze in the nozzle, but still be liquid in the tank - the pressure from the pump would blow the pipe off the nozzle.
Remove inspection cover, find pipe, re-attach to nozzle.

Pipe always disconnects from the nozzle on my Brera. Quick reattach required.
