As a point of interest for those that have not yet done this, or any other slightly more involved modifications but may be considering. Just recently, with my 3.2 Q4 Auto-Clicker, I had Orque here in Japan replace the stock manifold and ECU Computer with their lighter, larger highflow manifold all wrapped up pretty with a new heatshield as well as a new ECU Compter remapped to compliment the already present Remus sport exhaust and changes thereof.
I think just from the changes of the manifold alone nets some very nice gains in power, efficiency and sound as well as weight - as minor as that may be, any weight loss from the front end is welcomed.
The sound is very aggressive, winding out beautifully although it's not too intrusive and I've yet to replace the stock cats and downpipe. That's not cheap, so looking for alternatives there.
If anyone really wants to change the soft character of the 3.2/ 2.2, I highly recommend changing the manifold with exhaust and go from there.
Manifold, ECUComputer, wheels, exhaust + remap
To do list:
Front rotors/calipers, cat + centre pipe, downpipe, suspension = Done.
