Wheel Brace

Had to take off the front wheel today, wifey's car has 18" horseshoes. The stupid wheel brace that comes with the Brera has ripped the paint off the alloy wheel inside the bolt hole. Grrrr
Does anyone know where I can get a brace that has rubber on the outside to stop the alloy being damaged when undoing the bolts? I know the pros have this type of equipment.
Any help greatly received.

Suppose you could just wrap some gaffer tape round it. I have a set of the proper alloy removing sockets with the plastic sleeves to stop this. Usually hand it to the tyre guy when getting tyres done as they never use them & normal sockets + windy gun = scratched bolt holes!
