My first Brera was silver with dark red leather. Sold at 60k with no real signs of wear at all. No rips, stains, marks, nothing. I wouldn’t say it looked showroom new, but you wouldn’t be able to look at it and judge how old the car was.
Many moons ago I had a silver GTV V6 owned from new and it to had red leather but was a much more vivid / bright red, and less subtle than the Brera red. Sold it just short of 90k, and the seats looked in remarkably good condition.
Leather is easy to clean. I've not experienced any 'stains' or anything that couldn’t be easily cleaned. It can also be re-coloured should you somehow scuff it.
All in all, I'd say don’t worry about it. It made the Brera cockpit seem a lot more opulent than plain black leather, and getting into the car always gave the impression of being sat in a special place.
Personally for me, I don’t like dark gloomy black leather interiors.
