Sorry to hear about your woes with the car mate.
I too was rather puzzled about the colour of the car? black/grey?
Whilst you have had a bad experience with the car clearly, I'm not sure that it is really that
terrible. Of course, cars in this day and age should be pretty much 100% reliable and properly screwed together when they leave the factory but we all know that in 99% of cases, and with ALL brands of car, they just aren't.
The fact that it doesn't have Blue & Me is a mistake by the dealership and not a fault of the car.
The fact that the seats were wrong is not a fault of the car but is a major clanger by Alfa. Not good at all, but I suppose its also just one of those things.
The car registering thing also isn't a fault of the car. What on earth were the dealership doing?
Okay, the clutch, brake cylinder & gearbox were very lemon-ish
Some of the other stuff really isn't good either and I can't really blame you for feeling fed up with it, but from what you say a fair proportion of it does seem to be a bad experience with the dealership. Am I right in thinking that in each case, if the service and turnaround of warranty repairs was 1st class you might not feel as disgruntled? Or am I just totally wrong and the car really has been a total lemon?
Shame really as they are such nice cars. However, with this said I can think of plenty of other Friday afternoon cars that people I know have had with equally awful issues - Jaguars, Saabs, Renaults, BMWs, Audis, VWs, Seats etc..
I guess you sometimes have to just get lucky..
...I suppose another way of looking at it is that there honestly can't be much more that can go wrong now
