ABS VDC and Hill Holder Warning
I got the triple "ABS not working - VDC not Working - Hill Holder not working" set of warnings last week on my 57 159 Saloon, which I see a few other people have had.
I thought it was worth reporting that in my case it was caused by the wire from the rear offside wheel sensor having chafed to the point where the copper conductor finally broke. The chafe was just on the wiring loom side of the plug and socket set that is in the wheel arch, and must have been caused by the edge of the angled piece of metal that the plug and socket is clipped to. Soldering in a couple of cms of wire to replace the damaged section cured the problem immediately.
Might be worth checking this if any of you have the warnings come up, and also might be worth an earlier look to see if you've got any chafing happening now. You can see the connector without even having to take the wheel off, or at least I can with the standard 17" Lusso wheels, (but it will be caked in road dirt !) I've personally found no sign of chafe at the other wheels, even though I took out the front wheel arch plastic liners to check behind them (the connectors themselves are behind the liners at the front).
