I would get the egr deleted, lots of 147, 156's (and numerous v/halls with the same engine)etc dont have the dpf but breakdown or have the eml come on due to the egr valve. Lots of different choice's out there, if your going to spend the cash may as well go all the way.

i want to remove my dpf of my alfa159jtdm.2006,can i just remove it or do i have to do a program for this.tks.frank

You will need some sort of program, either drill it and use a fixitsan dongle (which just stops the regens), or maybe more as there are some sensors in the DPF if you replace the whole device.
