Brera brake upgrade (for non track use)
I've just bought a Brera 3.2 Q4 and the brakes are a bit rubbish. The pedal has lots of travel before biting. The front pads look a little worn and the front discs a little ridged so I am planning on replacing the front discs and pads.
I plan on upgrading over OEM, but I won't be doing track days.
I've read a lot about the Performance Friction Z rated pads as being the absolute best, but that they also require a change in brake fluid to high performance fluid. I think this may be overkill for my needs as I plan on doing the brake change myself.
Other than PF pads, I've also heard about ferodo DS2500 pads, but also that they can be quite noisey?
I did also think about using EDC Turbo grooved discs (just because they look quite good!) does anybody have any experience of them, and if I used them or indeed if I didn't, what pads I should go for based on spirited road use?
