Anyone had a JTDm remapped that's gone bang?!

Just put a deposit down no a 1.9 JTDm SW - to say I'm excited is an understatement!

I have been reading around the various posts regarding remaps though and think I will opt for angel tuning as they have a good rep and prices seem ok.

Does anyone have any experience of a JTDm which has gone wrong in anyway though? I know there is the potential for them to go wrong but does anyone have first hand experience and if so, what happened?

Mines been fine but may I suggest you get a quote/information from another tuner as well, try AHM or Alfatune, AHM are nearer to you, they work together on some things and know this engine particularly well.....

I'm 15K miles into an Angel remap and am a happy customer. Car now has 88K miles on the clock and is great. You might want to check that the timing belt has been done if it is close and that the clutch has a decent bit of life left, as an extra amount of power/torque may cause issues with either if not sorted first.
