Need help - 159 has broke
My recently purchased 159 went wrong on the way home today.
I had a couple of moments when I went for the accelerator and nothing happened straight away - there was a huge lag until I got any power out.
Then it started happening more frequently.
When I got off the main road, I pulled over and tried switching off and starting it again (I work in computers). But then noticed the car was barely managing to keep idling.
When I got home, a mate had a look (who knows a little bit more about cars than me) and said it sounds like its not running on all cylinders. Maybe missing one.
Basically, symptoms are - no power when pressing on accelerator until the revs very slowly build up and then the power is there. And its very very juddery with low revs.
No low down pull at all - but the turbo meter does go up a bit.
Grrr. I liked it for the first 2 weeks I had it.
Hope its nothing too bad.
Cannot get it to a garage now because of the time, and I'm at work tomorrow. So now I'm going to have to deal with all the garages etc on the phone.
Out if interest - if its really badly broke, is there any law or anything that says the garage that sold me the car has to take it back (it's 13 days since I bought it).
Thanks so much.
