Remaped some 100.000 km. Ago.
Runs realy good! 233 km/h (GPS)
My 2.4 (2007) is 100% original (no remap) and I've reached 235 km/h on the German autobahn (GPS). I guess your remap makes it quicker off the line, but I'd expect it to be faster on a straight line...

I note other poster quoted a GPS speed, the speedo always tends to over read, I'd happily add 5-10% to his quoted speed!

Well, my 235 km/h was also on GPS, not speedo (as mentioned in my post) - hence my post.

Okay guys, did a quick search on the German Autoscout side and a few interesting things showed up:

A 159 with, as the seller claims, 1'850'022 kilometers on the tacho - I strongly suspect this can't be true, must be a typo somewhere...

However, the list has plenty of high-milers with 318K, 270K and many more with more than 200K on the clock - that's a good sign for us all

How much does it cost to 'rebuild' an engine, specifically for the 159?

My map does't really give power above 4000 rpm in 5. (190 km/h) and in 6. (230 km/h)
My top speed is affected by the size of my wheels. Where 245/45-18's give a higher GPS top speed than 225/40-18's...

But is am going to do some proper work to my DPF soon. There is some power loss in there for shure!

My 2007 1.9 jtdm 16v (chip tuned) has done about 290.000 km (180.000 miles), but last 4 years it doesn't have EGR, DPF and catalyst.

My 1.9jtdm is on 182,000 miles (292,900km). Still on the original clutch I think (no documented change in an otherwise well documented service history).

A little late to answer I guess.
But here it is none the less.
The car stops pulling around 4.100 rpm and wouldn't go any higher. And that was no matter what size wheels you would put on.
