Try swapping the front tyres with the back ones. The whining noise is now at the front, it's tyres. If not, it could be bearings as Ghostydog suggested. Test for rear hub bearings is to get some 'short' mates in the back of your Brera and drive round corners at moderate speed, if the noise get louder on a left or right hand bend then the hub bearing at that side could be at fault. That said, if its going in for a service a garage should easily detect this. Had the same whining noise on mine, thought it might be rear hub bearings but turned out to be tyres - I did the above test.
Rocking seat is a common fault, I believe is fixable although not attempted to fix mine yet. Interested to read a solution for the poor headlights, I'm still eating loads of carrots so I see better in the dark!!!
