I would agree!
The rear visibility isn't great - there's not a lot of window to see through, but I find the sensors help, as they not only cover the back, but the rear quarters as well - one thing though, if you have the stereo on loud you might not hear the beeping!
As far as day-to-day practicality, I'm very much glad I went for the Brera over the 159 - lots of admiring looks and practical enough for me.. I can't fit anybody behind me, but adjusting the passenger seat forward slightly, I ca 'sit behind myself' (I'm 5ft10) reasonably comfortably, and I have had a passenger in the back on a couple of occasions (though headroom is a bit tight!).
I find the brakes aren't as sharp as I'd expect, nd I have the 'dreaded' red PAS fluid, that will be getting changed in a few days but apart from that, no problems. it occasionally runs a bit rough on start-up when cold but this goes atfter 30secs-1 min.
The boot is a good size - managed to fit mine and the missus stuff plus xmas pressies we brought back from down south no problem, though access can be a bit awkward due to the high lip of the boot hatch.
So far though, it's been a joy to drive, and it's true, you can't help catching a sneaky glimpse when walking away when you've parked it!!
Hope this helps Petedox, and good luck with your search!
