Brera Gearbox spec - same on all models ??

I'm thinking of doing something unusual with a Brera ...

Does anyone know if the 6 spd box in the Brera is the same spec across all engine choices ?

What's the maximum reliable torque they can take ? (many people have modified 2.4 diesels which might make more torque than the 3.2v6 ..)

Is the 3.2Q4 box substantially different, or is it same box but with an output shaft grafted on ?!

Do they have known weaknesses, can they be strengthened ?

Any comments appreciated !

I think the 2.4jtdm uses the GM F40 gearbox, as the 156 2.4jtd 20v does...
