Clutch Creak

Has anyone managed to get a permanent fix for the clutch creak? The dealer keeps spraying oil on mine which only lasts a few days before coming back again.

Itís in its 3rd year warranty and they're not keen on replacing parts like the master cylinder.

Any ideas?

I had this problem and my local dealer diagnosed what was wrong with it, ordered parts etc but on the day they had it in to fix it they instead oiled it as the engineer apparently said it was a dash out job and he wasn't keen to do it due to the creation of new creaks etc.

All very reassuring!!

Similar: I asked my mechanic in Italy who said that to stop the creaking he'd need to order a part which costs 2euro, but the job to get the old creaky bit (from what he was describing, sounded like a ball bearing of some sort, but that could be something lost in translation) off and the new one on would be half a day's labour - he advised for the money to stick with spray.

How silly of me to think that this problem was unique to my car!
