Any hints on stopping brake squeal?!
The front discs and pads on my 159 were fitted around 18-20K miles ago.
The pads still have loads of life left in them, as do the discs.
Over the past few months the squeal they put out under final braking is getting beyond a joke. As the car slows to a stop, either from speed or crawling, the pads/discs let out a really loud and annoying squeal. If i try to feather the brakes it isn't there until the final braking movement.
I have cleaned the caliper via a jet wash and some wheel/brake dust cleaner, but not had the pads out.
Is there any cure to this annoying problem? It sounds like I have some super track focussed pads/discs, but I don't!
