I would'nt panic too much just yet; with myself included, there are a few on here who have been rather sceptical about local dealers reassurances with any of the fluids as well as ARHQ, however it seems to be just a few of the models that were the earlier versions that were in question - and even then, only some of those not all; because most of the latter MY models already came out with the updated fluid and parts to my knowledge. Although in saying that, there are a few bad eggs in any batch, regardless of brand.
But, in all hindsight, I would still ask for the fluid change...and for a couple of reasons with many of them being obvious. 1) The fluid change is nothing overe the top in terms of price. 2) It's more of a pro-active action just incase. 3) It would not hurt to do this at any rate so the means justifies the cause and amount spent. 4) For better peice of mind.
They should in all regards yes, flush the system out, but it depends on how thorough your dealer is - MANY don't...!? This is not a hard task to do yourself should you wish to do so and yes, it is nothing too complicated for a dedicated DIY-er; somebody correct me if I am wrong here...
Also, I would just ASK the dealer, 'IF any work' has already been done on the car in this context...JUST to be sure and again, for your peice of mind.
Hope this helps a bit, but don't be too overly worried just yet.
