159 power steering reservoir lid leaking

I got the PAS reservoir replaced a few weeks back to cure the whining noise, that's all fine now, however while I was checking over the car yesterday I noticed that fluid seems to leak from the lid of the reservoir despite it being correctly secured. Is this a common issue? I tightened it a bit more and put some plumber isolation tape around the screw thread, but it looks as if the lid isn't sealing properly. Mind you, only a minor amount of fluid has leaked but enough to cover the outside of the reservoir. Solutions/concerns anyone? I've got another 10mths warranty to sort this....

Just had mine replaced under warranty and apart from the fact they didn't put enough fluid in, it doesn't leak. A lot of people on here do seem to report weeping PAS bottles though.

I had the reservoir replaced under warranty - no problems. Looks like you need a new one (again)

mine has a tendency to leak after a very spirited drive, it's quite common apparently

Look closely at the top of the lid - the little bump is actually a breather cover, you can move it with your finger.
I get a little fluid "sweating" out which is appraently common.
