I have been driving with a huge crack in the windscreen of my Brera for over 4 weeks now as Auto Windscreens cannot find the correct screen.
The problem appears to be because I have a glass roof. There's a rubber trim that runs the length of the windscreen, in between it and the glass roof. So far they have been unable to determine what part it is, the windscreens just come as a slab of glass with an interior seal, no sign of an external trim. They have even ordered one from Alfa but it turned out to be the same. Has anyone had a windscreen replaced on a Brera? How did it go? Can you remember what the windscreen looked like?
Also, I spoke to Western as I was of the impression that all Brera's had a glass roof and it was just the interior headlining that was different. They disagreed, claiming that they had no Brera's in stock with a glass roof. I'm confused now, so does anyone have an authoritative answer on this one? Are there Brera's with metal roofs? I can't honestly remember ever seeing a Brera with a roof the same colour as the car.
Any help on these would be greatly appreciated.
