Trouble with removing the jtdm badge off the 1.9 is that anyone in the Alfa world will know that it is then either the 1.9jts or the 1.8mpi, and thats not really that much to brag about!
There is a chap on here that has taken the badge off, but then added a second exhaust outlet, so the car could be a 2.2jts, a 2.4jtdm or a 3,2! When in fact it is a 1.9jtdm just like mine.
I don't mind my badge, apart from the red peeling off the m a bit. Might touch it up.
If you do want to remove it, the best way, so I have been told, is to use a length of fishing line, hook it around the badge, then double over applying increasing pressure. This cuts through the glue without leaving any marks. Then a bit of AG tar remover takes the glue remnants off.
Moved over to the dark side
And loving it
