Alfa 159 Changing from 16 to 17 wheels

I was thinking of changing my 16 alloy wheels to 17 is this ok do I just buy four new wheels or is there anything else required.
What would be the advantage if any.

Are the 17's geuine Alfa wheels? If they are not you need to check the stud pattern, centrebore and the offset. The 159 Ti had 19 inch wheels so you won't have any issues with 17's as long as you choose the right tyres.

I went from 16" wheels on the Tourismo to 18" wheels.
As the 18s were Alfa wheels, the 7 hole horseshoes, they fitted perfectly with no problems.
I was expecting the ride to be much harder, but I didn't notice too much of a difference at all. In fact the car handles much better, holds the road in a more positive manner and looks a million times better!

Go for it, you won't regret upgrading the 16s.
