Well Happy Spare wheel Space saver

Hello, I bought my Alfa 159 new just over 2 years ago and just taken a look at my spare wheel. I appreciate that this wheel comes in different sizes but I thot it would only be the actual tyre. My spare is 125 / 80 x17 99M but my actual alloys are 235 / 45 x18 98Y. Is this legal? The 17 inches part?! Can anyone shed some light. Thank.

It is a temporary use skinny spare.
99% of the time they are smaller than the normal wheels.

Yes, perfectly legal, but they are both speed and distance limited and have zero grip. Their only purpose is to stop that corner of the car dragging along the ground!

Still waiting for my full sized 17" alloy spare.
As paid for on my order.

8 months and counting.

18 & 19" will not fit in the well.
