I love my 159 but it's not a Brera and that is THE Alfa I have always wanted but due to the ever growing family I didn't think I could ever own but there could be good news on the horizon. The missus' lease comes up in the not so distant future so she has suggested getting a four/five door car paving the way for me to get a Brera
I try my hardest to put them out of my mind due to the lack of practicality but today a stunning black DB9 drove past me followed closely by a Black Brera and despite the huge price difference the Brera almost matched it on looks alone (the DB9 sounding amazing though)
Since the Brera was launched it's been the AR I've really wanted, but the recession put paid to my plans to get one this year and I'm now coming to accept that I will never have one. Another in a long line of coupes that I have wanted but have passed me by.
Couldn't agree more. My TI is a better car than my Brera was in almost every way, and yet all other things being equal I'd choose the Brera every single time. Stunning design.
Graham P - why not have both, go on you know you want to!
I remember you sold the last 159 for the GT then the GT for the 159, you're worse than me!!!
I should have kept the GT
To be honest the 159 is the perfect car...fast, safe, practical, comfortable, a looker. The Brera will be all of those without the practical bit so I really need to have a think about this one. For once I am not going to jump in feet first!!!
