Tyre wear on the tbi

Hello all, especially tbi owners.
Is there a difference in front tyre wear compared to previous cars.
I wonder if they cured it along with the lightening of the steering wheel which might imply chnages in camber setting.
On the same subject, is there a difference in the front settings of the tbi compared to the others?

Wish mine were, . When I had the wheels off doing my hyper-clean (started at 5.30 in the morning) before heading down to the celebrations at the Museo Storico on the 'birthday' Thursday (yes, I know, I need to seek professional help for this cleaning obsession, ), I was disappointed to find that the inner edges were looking decidedly second-hand whilst the outers had 5mm left. OK, we had attacked more than a few alpine hairpins in the previous few days as you may have seen here : http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/motor...ob-2010-a.html : but still, 8000 miles!!!??? . I swapped them to the rear otherwise I might have been through to the canvas by the time we got home as there were several more Swiss passes on the itinerary. I had the tracking laser checked by an indy tyre depot before I left and again on my return and they say it is as it should be, i.e. parallel.

Oh well - 5 months and (now) 11k miles from new and that's 2 replacement Pirellis on order already, .
