I too have the same issue on my 2.4 - how can you tell a regen is taking place, the current fuel drops to the twenties. I keep the driver info on so I can see current MPG as I do a lot of motorway driving so I know when mines going to regen. I too have to know it down from 6th to 5th on motorways until the regen completes - even then it still sometimes shudders. I need an oil change badly, so this may help as my regens always fail and the engine light comes up but running around at 3k revs sorts it and the light disappears. Thinking about the DPF removal - just need to raise the funds!!
Do BMW & Merc drivers have these issues. Love the car, but get p'eed off with having to knock down a fear for regens, regens failing. I just want to drive and let everything else happen as it should.....
